Netflix Selects Perfect Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Third Season
The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.
The streaming service revealed Tuesday that Cole Escola has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Bentham. Bon Clay can use their power to transform into an perfect replica of any individual they’ve touched with their right hand. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will portray a version of that character reinterpreted as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and animated series.
Escola joins several other fresh additions tasked with bringing Baroque Works to the screen, featuring head Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the cast as the monarch of the desert kingdom.
