England Coach Southee Unsure on The Ashes Participation

England fast-bowling advisor Tim Southee is currently evaluating what his involvement will be at the upcoming Ashes series in the host nation.
The ex- New Zealand seamer is expected to be available for the first Test because of his participation in the ILT20 tournament, which begins on 2 December in the United Arab Emirates.
The 36-year-old, aged 36, took up a position as England's pace bowling advisor in the warmer months after taking 391 wickets in 107 Tests for New Zealand.
Commenting as the English squad for the first of three Twenty20 games against the Kiwis was announced, Southee stated of his participation: "We are still evaluating that at the present time.
"We will determine what happens over the next little while."
English pace icon Broad had stated the Australia side as their "weakest squad since 2010", but the consultant was in no uncertainty over what to expect during the contest, which begins on 21 November.
"In my view there's ever a poor Australian cricket team," he remarked.
"Our focus is squarely on our own objectives. In my opinion the caliber of [England's] side that's heading out to the host country is brilliant.
"It should be an thrilling encounter, that series. Not just [are|do] fans from both nations looking forward to it, I think the whole cricket world is."
But, prior to the English team travel to Perth for the first Ashes match, they face New Zealand in the city of Christchurch on Saturday.
