Administration Decries 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have published a fresh batch of what they labeled "disturbing" images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 released later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the approximately 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is examining the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking charges.

Prominent Personalities in the Images

Included in the prominent personalities shown in the initial batch are well-known figures such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin conglomerate.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.

Administration Response

The White House reacted to the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the images for political purposes and to "seek to establish a false account."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative stated, asserting that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for openness, releasing thousands of pages of records, and demanding further investigations into Epstein's liberal connections."

Democratic Lawmaker Remarks

The photos were disclosed without context, but according to a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's associations with the rich and powerful.

"It is time to end this White House cover-up and secure justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he declared in a comment.

The publication of these images coincides with the House panel pressing on with its probe into the Epstein case.
